Filtering the map down to your top 10
Thousands of permits pull every week. Stack a few filters so the map shows only the ones worth a call this morning.
This guide is hands-on — follow along in the app.
A free account takes two minutes and includes 25 project views. No card.
The map plots every active permit in your market, scored 0–100 against your profile. Pin colors match the tier, so it reads at a glance before you click anything:
| Tier | Score | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Hot | 70+ | In your trade window, in your territory, fresh. Call-today material. |
| Warm | 40–69 | Good fit with a gap somewhere — timing, distance, or no relationship yet. |
| Prospect | 14–39 | A real project, but weak fit today. Worth a look when the board is quiet. |
| Watch | under 14 | On the radar. Windows may open later as the project moves. |
Stack your filters
- 1Start from scoreFilter by score tier — show only Hot, or Hot + Warm — and everything below drops off the map entirely. Start wide and tighten to Hot-only as your territory fills in.
- 2Layer value and typeSet a value range and pick project types. A $40K reno and a $4M build are different businesses — filter to the one you staff for and the noise disappears.
- 3Narrow by whereMulti-select Cities to focus a patch you're farming — the list populates from whatever's currently in view, so it stays relevant. Courting one GC? Star them and their new permits come to you via the Watchlist.
- 4One-tap chipsTop Scored, Added this Week, and In Pipeline are one-tap chips for the views you reach for daily — flip one on instead of rebuilding the filter each time.
What's free vs. what costs a view
Every permit's score, project type, value band, area, and recency is visible for free — across your whole territory, on the map and in the table. Opening a project's full record (street address, builder identity, verified contacts) spends one view and unlocks it for your account forever.
TipYour filters stick while you work, and you can save a named search — dial in your "call today" view once and bring it back any morning with one click.
