If your region isn't on this page yet but you already get a permit export, from your municipality, a permit service or your own project list, you don't have to wait for us. Drop the file in Settings → Your data and BuildMapper reorganises it into its own format.

Each file is read column by column, mapped to our project types, statuses and fields, and comes back with a receipt showing exactly how every column was read and which rows to check. Anything the file carries that we have no field for is kept in the project description, so nothing is lost. The next step, running the map and every module off your data, is coming.

Any export, as it comes

Spreadsheets and CSVs, one file or several, every sheet in the workbook. A weekly drop is the routine; the same permit in two weeks' files is one record, updated in place.

Reorganised into BuildMapper's format

Headers, project types, statuses and dates are matched to ours, so the filters, scores and win windows work on your permits the same way they work on ours. Cancelled and expired permits are counted and left out.

Placed on the map

Rows with coordinates keep them. The rest are geocoded, and a row we can't place is flagged rather than dropped, so the receipt always adds up.

Private to your account

Your permits are held separately from ours, visible only to your team, and never mixed into what other accounts see. Download the reorganised file any time, or remove it.
